We live right off of the JMU campus, by the hospital, on Mason st. Unfortunately near a lot of college students but my husband manages teh complex we live in so it wouldn't make sense to pass up free rent to live somewhere a little quieter..lol We just moved down here from NJ about a year and a half ago... how do you like this area? (I love it)

I'm in VA! and graduated from JMU!! I miss that area...it's been a LONG time since I was last there!

Maybe I can get DH to make a trip up there soon! I need some JMU gear now that we are back in VA! I wanna go to Luigi's and Dave's (or Gus' or whatever tavern it is called now...and th3e yummy breakfast place downtown too!) but I'm sure I'd be the ancient one there!!

My DH graduated from JMU..it's Dave's..lol. Do you remember what the breakfast place downtown was called? When is teh last time you were here?

I think ya'll are thinking of L&S. Mmmmm.

And I used to work at Dave's. If you ate there between 2001 and 2003 I might have cooked for you!

There is a Luigi's downtown now in the old Dave's building, but it's not as good as the original.

I looked at houses in Locust Grove! I ended up buying on the other side of Spotsy county though.
