Re: Are folks "boycotting" FSOT FB's, too?

I am not allowed to buy used dipes as per DH so I am limited on what I can buy from FSOT.

I will say that it seems that a lot of the FB's on FSOT right now (the ones that stay on there for longer than 48 hours) seem to be priced pretty high. The mamas willing to sell used dipes for $10-11 seem to get rid of them pretty fast.

I ran into the pricing issue when I was selling my science textbook on half.com last week. I really wanted to be greedy and ask for more, but I decided to sell it for 15-20 bucks less and get it out of there. My book was gone in 24 hours and I am $55 richer (after fees and shipping) than I would have been if I had asked for a few bucks more. The people selling the books for the higher prices are still listed on there almost a week later.

It's all about supply and demand. When you think about it, getting to use a new dipe for $5 is not a bad deal so why not just sell it for a few bucks cheaper and have it be gone?

The other thing is the time of the month. Everyone is trying to sell right now and not many have money to buy. Wait 'til the 1st and stuff will fly like hotcakes.

I knew I asked for a reason - you all make perfect sense

I guess some of those prices are high, which makes a big difference.

BTW - I know I recently ordered some new XS FB's from Parent Naturally. There was a thread recently about "Cheap Fuzzi Bunz" where they listed some sale places & discount codes. I *wish* I could rememer the dang code - it got me an extra 10% off. You might be able to find it from last week.

Sweet_fantasy_fox is brilliant...I didn't know I could search my past posts so easily (yeah, I'm new to this).

Here is the site that I got my cheap fb's last week. I believe sale ends 8/31.

the discount code is: DP0806

Hmm - didn't have a problem with the code last week. It is DP-zero-8-zero-6, in case there is any confusion between o and 0. That's the only thing I can think of...

Code didn't work for me either...I copied and pasted it from your original post. Perhaps it has ended!
