Hudson Hat and a ?

I have my first Hudson hat almost finished and could not wait to post a picture! It is all solid stripes, for my youngest. My question is on the ear flaps, I was wondering about maybe moss stitch for the next ones so they don't roll in so much, but on my almost 3yo it does look better, and not such a problem. Maybe it does that because it is a little big yet on her?
Well, anyways, here is it, I was worried about it being too funky with all the different colors, but it actually looks cute! I was suprised on how little yarn it took per stripe! I have requests to make 3 more for the rest of the kids! It is great when they actually want you to make something for them!
