Diaper Swappers

I am in the process of sewing my own cloth wipes (so cute!) using two pieces of flannel. One side is a solid color, the other a matching print.

Can I use the leftover peices to make diaper liners?

Should I sew together two pieces or is one layer of flannel enough?

liners for what? flannel isnt a good "stay dry" liner but if you just mean to "catch" diaper cream one layer should be good

Yeah, I want them for creams and vasoline as we will be having our third boy.

maybe do 2 layers just to be sure i know a lot of the creams cause horrible build up and i wouldnt want to deal with that

Can the liners with cream/vasoline on them be washed with diapers or should I seperate them?
