DS went over 4 hours without peeing today!!

I can't bellieve he held a pee for over 4 hours - he's 9 months and actually on a little potty break at the moment but I put his diaper on at 8.30 - we took his brothers to preschool and then went to the gym - He was asleep when we got there so I left him asleep in the nursery - I went back for him at 11 and when I went to change his diaper I was amazed he was dry so I pottied him again and he still didn't go. Then we went to Target - dry/pottied again - nothing - got home around 12.45 still dry and finally did a huge pee in the potty.

dd used to hold it until she was at home in her bathroom, with only me- she was very particular for a while. and we were very unlikely to miss if she had on a diaper or panties, but of course if she was naked that was a whole nother story.

dd has done quirky things like that too! Once it was 7 hrs and I thought surely something was wrong. Nope! She held it until she was ready to go and then let loose!!

thats great.. Baya will hold it soemtimes all night long.. but i think of that as a fluke..lol.. but for the last couple mornings she has been going on the toliet.. she is 11 m

we put DD on the toilet off and on all day long.. she has always gone pee.. even if it is just a little. but we don't belive that means she is ready to PL ...we don't think she has the cognative ablility to understand that she is pottying.. she is only 11 m old..but, we are getting her used to sitting on the potty...We love it when she goes potty tho.. we all clap and dance... we are hoping this will just flow into a routine and it will be easier for her to PL..
