Yeah James! Add me to those doing happy straw cup dances. DD (10mo) just figured it out. I am so excited because up until now it was Momma or nothing. I had tried bottles, sippy cups, straw cups with breastmilk, formula, or water. All I got was 1/2 hr of screaming and maybe 1oz drank. Yesterday she decided to sip the water. Today she took 2oz of formula with absolutley no complaint.

Foster baby has just learned at 14 months... not that I didn't try, but he didn't know how. Way to go for your DS!
I don't remember how old DS was when he did, but definitely no later than 7-8 months. Babies are so different!
