Its shocking how ignorant (and RUDE) some people can be.
I agree and I don't even breast feed. That lady needs slapped.

Re: People actually think this???

Wow.......Now I have to admit, when I was a younger mom, I listened to my mother on how to do things for my first daughter. She was weaned from the breast and completely on a bottle with formula when she was 6 months. She was on cereal at 5 weeks. She always slept in a crib, no exceptions.
I am older and wiser(I hope). My youngest dd is still nursing at 22 months, she did not have cereal until 6 months. We co-sleep.
There is nothing sexual about breastfeeding!! Some people are just ignorant.

Since when is a 15-month-old two years old?!

And what 2-year-old can pour their own milk from the fridge? Not mine...

Re: People actually think this???

My four year old has never poured her own milk. I don't see how she could be expected to pour from the big, heavy gallon container. She could certainly pour from the little milk boxes they give her at preschool. But someone would have to open it for her first. Not sure what pouring milk has to do with anything though...LOL.

My kids weaned at 12 mo, 32 months, 36 months, and the last one is a baby who will probably nurse as long as I let him. Nothing sexual about it. And, although I do want to keep him a baby as long as possible, that has very little to do with how long we will nurse. AND it is so NOT sexual. DH has to give me a little time to change gears from baby to him because mommy mode and wife mode just don't mix, if you know what I mean.

My 3 year old can barely pour a glass of milk (and milk is everywhere)!
What a loser, just because you may not bf that long doesn't mean you have to knock other people who do. Nursing isn't something sexual... for real she better start potty learning when her lo's are 12 months old... you wouldn't want them to get mixed messages! What a mean person!

Ugh, what an ignorant b****. Obviously she has either never breastfed, or has major issues with sexual boundaries herself.
