I converted to KNIT! Check out my first custom pair!

Well I made the switch from crochet to Knit, and just finished my first custom pair for a customer. She had a great idea of putting a puppy face on the bum and I had a lot of fun doing it! She picked the color combo which I think is very cute, and showed me the type of dog she liked and this is the result

**The lighting was horrible and the angles were funny so they look a little wonky, but I swear they are the same size all over! (DS kept trying to snatch them off the table so I had to snap pics fast! lol)***

Folded

Front (you can see the ears on the sides)

Back - Yes thats a tongue!

So what do you think, should I stick with crochet, or do you like my knitting?

The knitting looks great--but something about that tongue is unsettling...

I think your knitting looks great! I can crochet, but I prefer the look of knit. I don't have time to learn (or actually knit for that matter), though.

the tongue was asked for, because we have a newfoundland dog, who ALWAYS has her tongue hanging out. It is breed trademark! I love them and can't wait to try them on my LO! I bet they look even cuter on!

I think the tongue is cute ... as long as it doesn't slobber on me.

Very nice job!

Very nice! What kind of cuff did you do and which pattern did you use?

The pattern is my own, knit flat in two pieces and then stitched together using a seamless stitch, and the cuff is a variation on the seed stitch, instead of doing the whole cuff in seed stitch, I just did two rows of seed and then knit the rest. I think it gives it a bit of a girly touch to it.
