FL Mamas Around Orlando - can you help?

We are going to be heading down to FL from OH next year at Christmas for my brother's wedding. Is there anyone in that area that would be willing to help my family find hotel rooms or something? It's so hard to search when we've never been there to know where is ok and where are bad sections, KWIM? And my brother is so super busy/stressed we're all trying to avoid asking him these types of questions if we can.
Right now, he's in Altamonte Springs. But not sure exactly where the wedding will be.
