Washing inserts

Is it okay to bleach inserts since they don't actually touch the baby? One poop and they are stained and just look yucky.

Re: Washing inserts

I did a seperate wash with just inserts the other day. Mine were looking dingey, so I put two tablespoons of bleach in and no soap.
I was shocked to see a ton of bubbles, but after three rinses they all look great

Thanks for your reply Pauline!! I'll make sure to extra rinse if I do bleach them.

Re: Washing inserts

I bleach mine . I never have smell problems either. I've bleached them maybe once a month. 1/4 cup of bleach to a full washer of water.
