Unhappy Please help me with wool measurements!

I measured the way I thought I was suppose to but the longies I just received look tiny....They are napping so I haven't tried them on them yet but unless they relly stretch I can't see them working.
What am I doing wrong?
I feel so frustersted!!!! I have been cd'ing for almost 6 months and cannot get through the night with ds or dd w/out wet pj's. I thought wool was the ticket but now I can't get the right size!!
Please help me!

Re: Please help me with wool measurements!

how did u measure?

Rise- i go from the belly button under his bum to the same spot on his back

inseam-inner upper thigh and go down to his heel

waist-belly button and go around

hips-lower then waist and around

when i do customs i ALWAYS send 2 measurements (naked and with my bulkest diaper on)

HTH

Definitely be sure to measure over your bulkiest diaper! My nighttime diaper is lots bigger than a prefold or daytime fitted, so I have to be sure to get a good measurement of that, and the drawstring will do the rest if it's a little too big.

Did you order custom longies? If you did, you might contact the wahm about them. I know that I try to work with my customers to make sure they have a good fit and are happy with their purchase - and have been known to unravel things to make them fit. If you ordered stock, can you return and get a bigger size?

I bought off a mama on here that makes them - They are not custom or stock just longies made from recycled wool. I was shocked that the smallest ones actually fit (not much room to grow) my ds. I have been putting dipes on him that were WAY to big and just got meds in today and they fit under the smaller longie (for daytime) and the other one is a little girly for him...I think. Anyway tonight when I have them stuffed to the hilt(I have super soakers) for night-nights I will have my dh help me to measure them.

unless it says CUSTOM then most WAHMs go by general sizing.
