how long should I hold a dipe?

I am holding a dipe for a momma that was going to transfer $ to her pp account. I have sent pm's and no response. I have other mommas asking if it's available. How long should I hold it with no payment or communication?

How long have you been waiting? If it were me I would wait Max 3-4 days.. Just to give time to transfer etc.

Then send a pm to let her know you had others intersted! HTH

I do not hold items past 24 hours after giving my pp addy. I feel that is adequate time for someone to pay. If this person is not responding to your pms, I would let the next person have it.

It was Saturday the last I talked to her. I understand with the holiday, the $ probably hasn't transferred. However, she hasn't responded to my pm's telling her I have other momma's interested.

I personally dont like to 'hold' items. Ive held on to items for 3 weeks before to have the Momma say that she didnt have the money or changed her mind or something. If you told her you would hold it, then I think 4 days would be good.

Re: how long should I hold a dipe?

well I admit I often ask ppl to hold items, sometimes for even a week or two, BUT only if I am 100% sure I want it, and I touch base often with them to let them know yes I still want it, or (rarely) I will say nevermind, go ahead & sell it... so I dunno it depends on how long she asked you to hold onto it, but if there has been no communication and you have others wanting it, I'd maybe go to the next in line, do you know if she's been online at all? Send a PM requesting read receipt (if you haven't already) to see if she's at least getting them... sorry Mama

Re: how long should I hold a dipe?

I will hold something until someone else is interested. If person A asked me to hold it and person B comes along, I PM person A and give them X amunt of time to respond. If they don't, then I give it to person B.

I don't hold items if there are multiple people that all PM me around the same time. I give to the person that has PP. I sell to buy what I need, so I usually can't hold something for an extended amount of time.
