Oh and ignore the diaper she has on. I know it didn't fit well, but I got those for free and I wanted to see what they looked like on.
She is soo cute. Ohh to have a girl! I would even it up, but wouldn't go to a salon, I think at her age that may freak her out. I would just cut it yourself, it looks like you could even it up in just a few scissor snips

I would cut it. I actually did cut my DD's hair. She was growing a mullet. It was funky looking. It was short in the front and long in the back. I think had we not cut it, her hair would have never grown out the way it is now.

Here she is at a year old when it was really bad. As you can see, it looks really thin and really tangled.

Here's after we cut it. They gave her a cute little bob.

And here she is now at 2 years old, it's not a good picture of her hair, but the length is good and it's really healthy.

I think we made a good decision.

Ali- Thank you I think she's cute, too, haha

Michelle, wow that was a big difference. Such a cute girl you have and tons of hair!

See I'm like some of the PP's in that I don't want to cut it, but after hearing what you other ladies have done I think I might give it a trim.

She does have bangs and they hang in her eyes all the time.

I will post a pic if I do

I would trim too. In my experience, fine baby hair sometimes grows much nicer after a good trim. It looks healthier and not so whispy. My dd's hair is just the opposite! It's longer in the front than the back. It's kind of cute right now at 6 months, but we'll see how it grows out!

Re: Would you cut her hair? (pic)

My daughter's hair was like that in the back at 18 months or so (it took her a really long time to grow hair). I went to supercuts to have them even it out in the back, and they gave the poor kid a bowl haircut. I cried for like two days, even my husband got upset over how goofy she looked. I don't regret cutting her hair shorter, I just regret taking her somewhere to do it. From now on I'll butcher her hair myself instead of paying twenty bucks for someone else to.
