scratchy wool....can it be made soft?

If wool is scratchy is there a way to make it softer?

some wool is just not good for cd's, but you can try extra lanolin.

Definitely try multiple handwashes with lanolin.

well, what are you talking about? it is a sweater/something else you want to recycle, or have recycled,. or is it something knit/crocheted or what???

You also might try wasing it with hair conditioner and then lanolizing. Some wool will be scratchy no matter what you do, but other wool is just REALLY dried out and will feel better once you super condition it.

Thanks! It's a recycled pair of longies that feel alittle scratchy to me. I'll try washing with conditioner and then lanolizing.

yep - i've used conditioner on wool to make it softer too. works very well for us.

yup thats why i asked what kind it is, i was gonna say condition it and then lanolize as well
