Using FB as covers??

Has anyone used FB's as covers for PF's or fitteds??

Wondering if this could be possible. I am just not into pockets at all but I LOVE whatever the outermaterial is on the FB's, so stretchy and they fit so nice.

So if I could get some for cheap I thought I could use them as covers??

Sure, but you could just buy covers. You can get PUL covers (same material as FBs) from places like WiggleWormBottoms and it'd be cheaper than buying FBs. (Of course, used FBs would probably be cheaper than new covers, but not used covers...)

You could but you would still need to change the FB with each change. If you let the fleece get wet and then keep using it then you will end up with major smell problems....

I had a couple with really pilly fleece & cut the fleece out to use as covers. It's ok, but the fit isn't the same over a prefold or fitted & I think it would leak if the pf or fitted got really wet. It seems too flimsy now with the fleece gone.
