Re: product questions - please help
I was so glad I had a tube of burt's bees diaper cream when my baby arrived. She got a few rashes the first month and it worked great! Make sure you have fleece liners to use though since most diaper creams will stain cds.

as far as baby washes/lotions...I love the Gerber ones that are Milk & Honey, Sweet Pea, Oatmeal! I love them so much that since I can't find them in Germany, I have my family send them from the states! I think the only place they are able to find them in the states is at Babies R Us. For wipe solution, you can use anything from water, to some warm water with a couple of drops of tto, a squirt of baby wash...whatever works for you! Good luck and let us know when you have the baby!

I LOVE Aveeno diaper rash ointment... It clears even the worst rash in less than 24 hours. DSD had a bad rash this past weekend... She is 7 we used some on her and it was clear when we took her home. It doesn't stain diapers either. $4 at Wal-mart.

Re: product questions - please help
I have never needed rash cream.
For wipes I fill my wipes container with water and a drizzle of baby shampoo, then a little tea tree oil. Works great. For diapers, I use mostly Cloth Thoughts. They are really cute, and nice and trim. There's a ton of lightly used diapers up on the website right now for cheap! That's a great way to try them out! |

Re: product questions - please help
I guess I'm too mainstream because for bath stuff, nothing smells better on a baby to me than Baby Magic.
For diaper cream, I love Dixie Babies Bum Butter and Naturally Luxe Natural Baby Bottom Balm. But it's good to keep a good old zinc oxide ointment and some fleece liners on hand for a real case of diaper rash. For wipes solution, I love Dixie Babies Dixie Drops. As for recommendations for CDs themselves, for a newborn, prefolds are great and I love Mutts NBs fitteds |
