Re: Adopt a Newbie!!!!

I'm a big sister!!! I'll take more if anyone wants me though!

SAHM to 2 kiddos... Both were cloth diapered from birth (including in the hospital) so I have been doing it for almost 4.5 years. I'm a firm believer in making CDing simple and effecient while still enjoying the cuteness. I have tried just about everything under the sun with atleast one of my kids, including making my own. I also can do basic repair on any diapers so that might be helpful to a little sis My post count is not as high as some because I found my niche before I ever knew about DS so I didn't really have any questions but once I did find my way over here, I have tried to help as many and have even learned more along the way. Would love to have someone to pass my knowledge on to!

BIG SISTER AVAILABLE!!

I'm a SAHM to 5 kids - 7yods, 6yods, 4yods, 2yodd, 5modd. I've used cloth on 3 of them (started when my 3rd was 18mo). I've used/tried about everything and have experience with sewing and knitting as well!

My stash currently consists of mostly prefolds and flats with a few fitteds. I use lots of wool, but have a few other covers too.

BIG sister needed

Only because I haven't actually diapered a kid yet... I've got a good working knowledge of what to do, in theory, but I am a bit terrified that the baby will get here and I will lose my mind! So maybe just a short term big sis to help me out with getting all this lovely fluff in a working, efficient stash...?

Re: Adopt a Newbie!!!!

BIG SISTER AVAILABLE

Mama -- I think this is the BEST idea I have heard!!!! I would love to be a big sister . . . seriously, when I was interested in cloth diapering, it was the kind replies from all these people that made me think that I wanted to be associated with them. It made all the difference. I cringe when people are mean to simple questions.

I am a stay at home (part time work at home) mom to 3 children. I have cloth diapered London since birth. I have used pockets, AIOs, fitteds (but can't pin worth a darn), and now almost exclusively fitteds with custom wool. I LOVE all questions about wool, yarn, custom knitting, yarn types, etc. All things wool! Laundering wool, lanolizing wool -- I would love to help!

Re: Adopt a Newbie!!!!

I am new and would love this! Would it be ok to request someone sort of like minded- I am waiting on my little man to arrive to CD. We are military with 3 other children therefore as much as I would love to have a bunch of high-end diapers (if they were really worth it) -really I am a SAHM and think prefolds, prefitted and a few cute diap's (AIO, a GM if the diaper gods see fit) sprinkled in would be good enough for us. I would love all of the fancy diaper bags and accessories but I really want to know how to afford CDing and enjoy it so that I don't become one of the ones that gets frustrated and goes back to sposies.
