Re: How often to wash a baby?

DD gets a bath every night as a part of her nighttime/bedtime routine. It's usually just a dip in the tub and about 1-2 week we use baby bath wash. Also as a part of routine, after bath we use a tad of lotion (just enough so it glides and not rubs skin) for a massage. It seems to keep her skin healthy and we don't have drying out. It's possible because most of the baths are just warm water.

Re: How often to wash a baby?

really until dd was 1.5 or so, we only did it max a couple times a week. now at 2 she definitely gets sweatier and dirtier (running around, playing, etc.), so she hops in the shower for a rinse at least probably every other day. and we'll do a good bath once a week and get her hair washed (a major battle) then.

Re: How often to wash a baby?

My dd is 10.5 months. She gets a bath every other day with a melaluca soap - all we've used since the beginning and then I rub her down with almond oil. I wipe her face, hands, and feet in between since we have hard wood floors that seem to stay dirty and the tops of her feet and hands get dirty from crawling.
