Re: Charlie's Soap
I don't smell anything with Charlie's either - I use the powder. The all-purpose spray smells like the 409 cleaner my Mom used to buy though.

Re: Charlie's Soap
I have the liquid and I don't like the way it smells. The dipes just smell clean to me. I think I will try the powder next time.

Re: Charlie's Soap
It's really odd. I have the powder and just bought the cleaner and liquid soap before trying the powder!!
The powder definitely smells *soapy*, but there's just some underlying *something* that I just don't like. I still smell it on the clean dried dipes too. ICK! Ever since my last pregnancy, I have a much keener sense of smell and that isn't a good thing!! Wonder how the liquid and cleaner will turn out??

Re: Charlie's Soap
I have to say that the load of stuff I used to strip my machine STUNK soooooo bad!! I ended up having to run multiple wash/rinse cycles to get the stink out but since then it has worked great.. EXCEPT on bG's but they smell much better than they did before (don't know why but they smell funky no matter what I use!)
Are you sure your machine was striiped totally clean of residue? If not maybe some of that is making it into each wash cycle you do??

Re: Charlie's Soap
I wish it was that. I just don't like the smell of the soap itself. Maybe I'm just weird!
