Orange-ish evap???

Ok, as some of you may know from this thread...

http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/...ad.php?t=40778

...AF is very late (a whole 7 days now!) and I'm still getting a BFN. I tested when I woke up today though and there was the *faintest* of lines but it was orange-ish! Not pink, not grey.

*sigh*

I know the only thing I can do is keep testing everyday until I get AF or a BFP... But I'm just so frustrated that I'm close to tears everyday... and DH is kind of still training for his new position so he's gone like 13 hours a day and when he's here he's sleeping so I barely get a chance to talk to him. So I just needed to vent somewhere I guess. Thanks if you've read this far...

Huh...faulty test maybe? If it's not the same color (or close, and I would guess orange isn't close?) I wouldn't trust it. Try another test?

Keeping my fingers crossed for you! try to get out of the house, go to the park, talk to people 9about other things)...that might help get your mind off it!
Keep testing since you might have ovulated late. My last pregnancy I tested Apr.1 since my period was late, got a negative and went on my merry way, thinking I had just skipped a period...until boobs started hurting 3 weeks later! Ultrasound indicated I had conceived around Mar.27 (umm, that's when my period was due!!!)

Hmmmm, did you retest today? You sound emotional....I was very emotional before I got my BFP.

I would retest today and see how the next test comes out. Hugs!!!

i feel your frustrations! I took sooooo many tests this last cycle for this surrogacy that I was seeing lines where there wasnt lines. lol Is it like a streaked line? I would think that if you are 7 days late, you'd have a nice line by now. Do you have a pic of the test? Maybe we can help you. What type of test was it?

Yeah... I'll keep testing. I think I'll try to hold it and test in a few hours.

For serious. LOL I tested when I was 6 days late when preggo with Bram and got a dark pink line right away. No pic of the test though...I'm on a "loaner" computer and it has no memory card slot... I seriously doubt it would show up anyway.

Thanks, everyone, for responding. I feel better now... I'm just a *very* impatient person.

I did actually get to talk to DH earlier though. But he's uber patient and was just like "well, we'll just test again tomorrow". I think that he thinks I'm preggo anyway regardless of what the test says. He keeps talking about what the *four* of us are going to do for our anniversary. (Which is 4 days after what my due date would be.) He's such an enabler.

Re: Orange-ish evap???

well, just take your prenatals and wait if you want.

I didn't test positive until AF was 5 days late, and it was really light.

Yeah, I'm taking my prenatals. I just wish I would have started taking them earlier!

Well, I tested again, still BFN. I'm just going to quit obsessing about it... and I'll post once something *actually* happens.

Oh yeah, and Rhiana had asked what kind of test I was using... At first I used some from Walgreen called Accu-Clear but now I'm using the ones from early-pregnancy-test.com.
