First Cold and 2 month well-baby checkup

Well. Sam woke up with a cold this morning. He's a little stuffy (but not runny), has a little cough and has a slight temperature (99.6). Of course, DH was sick last week... so now Sam has it. At least he's still sleeping well and eating really well. And of course, today was our 2 month well-baby check up.. thank goodness for only one doctor's trip! Sam's actually 2.5 months along--but we saw the doctor's early on for jaundice.... at ANY rate...

Sam's official weigh-in at 2.5 months along:

16 pounds 8 oz. WOOOF. And he's exclusively breast-fed. I guessed this morning he was 16 and a half pounds. He's a BIG boy. He's 25.5 inches long now as well. The doctor was really happy about his progress. Sam was 9 lbs 15.8 oz and 21.5 inches when he was born on 7-7-06.

It's so hard to see my baby sick. I had to call my mom this morning just to vent. Poor little boy.

I just wanted to share my new-mommy excitment and woes.

Sounds like your ds is doing really well. My little guy had a cold the 1st month and that was really hard for me, but we lived through it. Congratulations on having such a healthy little guy!

WHOA Sam is bigger than Lily and Lily is 6 months old! She had her checkup yesturday and weigh 16.4 pounds! Well the good thing about the cold and BFing is it probably won't last long and he won't be that miserable. We all had colds a couple of weeks ago and Lily was the only happy one
