My first AF with DD was at 3m pp, then they were regular. AF returned last month, at 2m pp with DS but hasn't come back for 6 weeks. Who knows. Waiting for the stupid thing so I can have an IUD put in!

Anyway, heard from one mother of 8 that as long as you nurse every 4 hours, she won't come back (that's her form of birth control). As much as I hate AF, I like sleep so I'm not waking up my baby to keep her away.

A couple days ago.

Of course it coincided with a discussion about mama pads I had with a friend.

With dd#1 it came back at 8 mo after 5 days on the road, feedings were spaced out more than normal & my body thought I was weaning her. With dd#2 I finally moved her into dd#1's room to sleep at night & moved dd#1 back into bed with us, so now babycakes is sleeping through the night & I have the gift again! What a trade-off, huh? So it came back at 13 1/2 mo with dd#2

With my first 14 years ago AF didn't come back for 6 months AFTER ds was weaned. It was GREAT!!!
With ds AF came back 6 WEEKS pp!! It sucks! the only good thing is that it seems to only come every other month instead of every month.
