my dd is 2 and around 30lbs, yes she is bigger for her age, but she is taller too, just bigger in general than other kiddos her age. Ok back to subject. I got her the Boulevard back when they had the sale. I Love it, and she likes it too. It sits up higher and allows her to see out windows better. Also, it fits nice and tight in our seat.

I have been estimating his weight wrong! He is barely 27 lbs! I only assumed he should be right about 30 since his last appt in Jan they said he was almost 29 then! I didn't think about them weighing him fully clothed with his shoes on.. So, yes, looks like he has quite a ways to be RFing!

For carseats I take the weight of the child with clothing on. If the max of the seat is 33lbs RF, then the max is 33lbs total for RF, not 33lbs of child + 2lbs of clothing.

I'm not sure if that's the *right* way, but it makes the most sense to me.

Yeah.. that does make sense.. so I need to add 2lbs when estimating for carseats.. so 29lbs! So, 6 more lbs to be RFing! I still would love to get him a Britax.. I do think I'm going to wait until he can go FF and get him a Frontier at that time.. and *if* we are blessed with another baby in the future, go for a boulevard for that one.. His current carseat is doing the job, and seems to be a good recommended seat for being so much cheaper.. (scenera)... so I guess we will hang out with it until he can turn... Time to get out the ho-ho's and twinkies! LMAO!

Are you a bama fan? I just got these. I did a lot of research, and didn't think the price difference in the roundabout and marathon was worth it. So, I went cheaper.
