conceiving after Yasmin BC

I have been on Yasmin for a while and will not be refilling this week so we can TTC. Has anyone taken this before TTC? If so, about how long did it take to conceive after you stopped? With my old BC it took about 4 months to conceive DD#2. I didn't know if it was faster for a lower hormone BC.

I never did the Yasmin, but I did ortho tri-cyclen and got preggo the month after I stopped taking it. I miscarried that one but got pregnant right away again after my miscarriage.

careful how fast you get pregnant though, my doctor said that you are at a high risk of getting pregnant with multiples the first 2-3 months after stopping the pill. My pregnancy was multiples too.

I definatley not trying to get pregnant this month or anything. We have a family vac planned for the end of Dec and I don't want to be sick or tired for that.
I'm just trying to see how careful we should be for the next couple months.

I was on this bcp up for one year post-partum. I got pregnant on my 2nd cycle off of Yasmin, so it does not take long for fertility to return. Think of how many women get pg while still on bcp, after all. If you're not ready to TTC yet, I would be careful if I were you.

I got preg with dd#2 the cycle right after I stopped taking yasmin. We were a little surprised to say the least .

I was on this BC after I had my daughter in 03. I stopped at the end of Nov. 03 AF came first week of Dec 03 and I was pg that month. Had DS Sept 04, it was quicker than I thought it would be

WOW, this is good to know! I am taking Yasmin now & we are thinking about ttc next summer/fall. It took 3mos to get pg when I was on regular ortho tri cyclen & I got pg 1mo off of the ortho lo dose but also m/c that pg.

Thanks everyone. It seems to happen pretty fast. I better be careful this month unless I want a July 4th baby! LOL!
