Re: Question for those who cosleep w/ a older baby

Our bed is a mattress on the floor too. He did fall off once onto pillows, but he quickly learned how to crawl off backwards. He's 2 1/2 now and if he's sleeping alone I just put a pillow on each side. That way if goes looking for the boob in his sleep he won't fall off.

Re: Question for those who cosleep w/ a older baby

I bought a crib that converts to a toddler bed by taking one long side off. I attached that to the side of my queen-sized bed.

Re: Question for those who cosleep w/ a older baby

We pushed the bed up against the wall so ine side it the wall, the other nothing. Then took off one side of the crib, attached it to our bed frame, pushed the crib mattress as far into the bed mattress as possibble and filled that gap with a rolled up baby comforter. It actually allows dso to sleep better because he'ss not worried about rolling onto ds and ds sleeps better, too . We were so against bringing the crib into our room, but there was no way we want to deal with sleep training and ds was getting way too active. Now we love it! Even dso who was never a big fan of co-sleeping and just went along with it becasue he didn't want to get up .
