me too, it is making my screen smaller and added a ton of white/blank area to the right side.

Yes, the sidebar will eventually be used for other things in addition to the ads. We have a few projects in development right now for you gals and the added sidebar space will really be a help to us in the near future.

This seems much more annoying to me than a way for me to go to whatever site that ad is for. I have stared more at the ad at the very top of the page more than I will EVER look at the ones I scroll right past in the posts.
