We are actually trying to get the ad units respected advertisers want to see on the site, so we can have the same level of professionalism large sites have. It is part of positioning DS for future growth. I know many of you think DS rakes the money in, but you are mistaken. We are spending a lot of money working on new projects ALL the time here. DS is VERY MUCH a work in progress and we do it all for our membership that loves this place.

Are the backgrounds going to be stretched as well? I see the white space to the right of the fourms, but all the ad space is doing is pushing them left..

I made the pic larger, so you can see what I mean..
(edited for size - problem is being worked on)

And Firefox will block the ads themselves, but not the ad "space" (the space the ads are supposed to be) It can also be downloaded here.

I use Firefox No Scripts and I had to click on the "Options" or the "S" at the bottom right corner of my page and "forbid" like 10 different websites to make all of the ads disappear. Somehow whatever changes they made ads show up for me when they normally wouldn't. So, I did that and now I am back to ad-free. It should stay that way unless DS makes another change like this.

that is a horrible place for the side ad IMO. its just makes it look very unprofessional.

ETA....saw your above post. guess that means that will fix that too?
