need cloth nursing pad suggestions

I need to get some nursing pads soon and have no clue what to buy. I tried the washable gerber ones with dd but you could see them through my clothes. It looked like I was wearing giant pasties (sp?) Are there any out there that you cant see through a bra and t-shirt? I didnt leak much last time but need something just in case. Share your favorites with me please

I have some great wahm ones, check out:

Megaroosdesigns

& let her know I sent you.

Oh yeah, you probably need a larger size pad, I have the same problem with the gerber ones, I had larger ones made and they do not do the same thing, she has a reccommedations section based on cup size.

I was going to say that you might try to find a larger pad. I have a small cup size so I don't have a problem, but I made some for myself that that cover most of my breast and in an unlined bra I cannot see them.

Re: need cloth nursing pad suggestions

I just bought some bamboo ones from homemademama on HC. In fact they're sitting on my desk waiting to be prewashed right now. Under a sport bra, they don't show at all, don't know about other kinds. These are contoured.

I also just got some wool ones from Covered Caboose on HC. They aren't contoured, but you can order pretty much any diameter you need from her. They show just a little more under a sport bra (slightly thicker pad).

Re: need cloth nursing pad suggestions

I have washable ones from Dr. Browns I got at Babies R Us, they are curved and don't show through at all, but previous people said maybe if you are larger you need a larger pad...I am like a c and they are fine for me, but the thought never occured to me maybe you might need a larger one. I find that with some bras the Dr. Browns are so big they hardly fit in the cup, so maybe go to Babies R Us and have a look?
