Also, something to try would be to practice sticking your tounge out at him all the time. Even a newborn can imitate this action and what you need is for him to have that wide open, tounge forward and down action. I did this w/ ds2 when his latch was bad and that was the only thing that helped. He now sticks his tounge out all the time still and people ask me why and I tell him b/c it was our thing when he was having latch issues. They don't ask anymore after that.
