safe sinus meds?

please help! my head is going to explode! what can i safely take while breast feeding? i took some sudafed, i figured that if it was safe while preggy, it should be safe while nursing, right? but it has never helped me much... anything better?!

tylenol sinus is what I have taken before.

you should try a neti pot also to wash out your sinuses. It will shorten the length of your infection!

tylenol sinus is just tylenol with sudafed....

Don't take sudafed mama. I don't have any here but check to see if ALAVERT will work for you. That is the only med that our LC told us is perfectly safe while BFing. I got really sick right after ds2 was born and I took that and it helped significantly.

Does this help with allergies too? I haven't had any problem with allergies since before I got pg with dd2 and just started taking claritin yesterday because I realized that I was exhausted & feeling like my eyes were giving out because of my allergies were kicking in.

YEP. ALAVERT is an allergy medicine to begin with. Taking it will help with certain symptoms and you can take Tylenol if you need that too.
