Are 3D/4D ultrasounds worth the extra money?

i had many doctor ultrasounds with my first..high risk pregnancy/positive for DS triple screen.

I did the 3d outside hospital because i wanted to see my baby was ok with my own eyes. of course you cant! LOL... BUT it was a far better bonding experience during such a hard time in which i had fears of the unknown future we had coming. I still cry to this day when i play the dvd, the sweet music in the background and her images remind me of my first glimpse of that little bundle inside me who needed to be loved one way or the other.

My baby was born 100% ok.

I have had another one with this 2nd baby and her images were way better and again, i now feel like i have bonded with her more so than before the ultrasound. Not that you dont bond without them but you do bond A LOT more by having one...i think.
