Re: Did your baby turn head down late in the game?

DD#1 was sitting on her bottom until a few days before I had her...at 39 weeksish....she moved into position in the middle of the night, I didnt know of ways to help her get into position, but she did anyway!

Oh, that's too bad She may not be experienced with breech though. I know my midwife said that she would not do a...I believe it was feet-first delivery bc of all the dangers involved and she just wasn't trained enough to do that and feel okay about it.

You could always discuss it with her though, hear her opinions on why...it made me feel better to know what may/may not happen when I had a breech baby and though I might end up with a c-sec. Also, would she accompany to the hospital and let the docs try to deliver a breech? (I know that's probably pushing it for a hospital...a breech delivery, but it never hurts to try! LOL)

I'm going to talk to my midwife about it when I'm there next week, just so that I can be prepared. I'm still hoping that baby will turn head down, of course, but if not, I want to be prepared for whatever will happen. I have never heard of anyone having a breech vaginal delivery around here... I just don't think it's done.

Re: Did your baby turn head down late in the game?

DD flipped breech between 32 and 35 weeks. By the next week she flipped head down.

I did many of the suggestions on the spinning babies site. I also sat on my exercise ball all the time.
