How do you change the title?

When something is sold on FSOT and you want to mark it sold, or you've made a typo in the title, how do you go back and change it?

go to edit in the post, then advanced you can fix it in there

Or when it is on the board you can double click next to it and it will allow you to edit it right there.

A third way is you can click "Edit", then click "Edit" again when the editing box comes up.

Can a sticky be made for all of the FSOT sub-forums for this specifically so that everyone can easily see it? It is so irritating to click on something you are interested in, and when the page loads be told the item is sold! If it is pending or sold, it needs to be changed in the title. Sorry, I just don't like wasting my time!

I've tried the way you ladies have said to do it but I still cannot the title to change on the board. It changed it on the thread itself but when looking at the main forum page, the title is unchanged!!

I posted in the grief/loss/support section and my post doesn't give me the option to edit it... I'm just wondering why not?
