poo questions

So my ds is almost 8 weeks old and not pooing every day. I know this is supposed to be normal, however my dd pooed and still poos like 4 times a day! New territory for me. When he goes it's REALLY runny and doesn't really have any seeds like it did when he was going more often. What's up with that?? It's still dark yellowish, but sometimes nearly brown. He has messy toots (for lack of a better term) pretty often, but not real stools. Normal? He seems to be getting plenty- he's very content most of the time and pees fine. His fontanel is fine, so not dehydrated...but he has a stupid latch issue (as I've posted before) so I worry that he will stop taking enough at some point....

If is is peeing normal amounts and is content and gaining weight then I would'nt worry about him not getting enough milk. Poop sounds normal to me as well. Ds poo would change colors depending on my diet, and didnt always have seeds. If theres no mucus or blood I wouln't worry about it. Ds would poop 5 times in one day and then not poop for a week. Its normal.

Re: poo questions

Sound normal to me too. As long as he's gaining and enough wet diapers. DS's was more/less seedy and different colors too depending on my diet.
As far as latching ... has anyone suggested a nipple shield?
