Getting worried

I am getting worried about this pregnancy. I am starting to feel a little better, a little less puky, a little more energy. I am still tired, but can't seem to sleep well.

I am 11 weeks on Friday. During my second pregnancy I went in for my 12 week checkup only to find out that the babies heartbeat stopped about 10 weeks. I didn't realize it then, but my pregnancy symptoms had gone away.

I am so paranoid I am loosing this baby although there is no "real" reason to think so. How am I supposed to not worry and be paranoid about this?? My next appointment isn't until I am 13 weeks.

I also don't know why I am so tired, but can't seem to sleep??

Re: Getting worried

All I have to offer is hugs at this time.

Could you call your dr/mw to see if the can see you to check the heartbeat before your next appt?

I'd definitley call if you're worried. Thats is why you have a m/w or ob they are there to ease your fears! Please update us if you are able to get in.

the doctor eased my fears at my 9 week appointment. he said my uterus was the right size and everything looked good.

I guess I have no real need to worry except that I have lost 2 pregnancies adn I am being paranoid.

He said we would check for heartbeat at the next appointment.

Really, if you're worried, call your doctor. Mine said anytime I was concerned, they'd have me come in to do whatever to ease those fears.

I understand, Terri. I've been there too many times. It's a scary feeling, but I'm sure your dr. would be happy to have you come in and listen w/ the doppler quickly to give you a little reassurance. I'm thinking of and praying for you!

Re: Getting worried

If I were you I would invest in a doppler.. they arent that much and when you are done you can sell it for practically what you got it for..
