I've been having serious nipple pain issues the past couple of days. I've gone through the possible list of causes and ruled all out and now am at a loss.

Not thrush as DD has no symptoms
Not mastitus as I have no fever, chills, etc
Not anything external as nips are not cracked, bleeding or scabbed

Help please!!

you can have thrush and dc be a syptomatic

Is she teething, sometimes the acid of teething causes discomfirt or the change in latch. I t could be alot of stuff, you pregno?

baby doesn't always have symptoms with thrush. what does the nipple pain feel like? when I had thrush it felt like razorblades were shredding my nipples, or a white-hot burning. And my nipples were really red and kind of shiny.

i learned just recently that thrush is overwhelmingly the most common cause of nipple pain while bf'ing (after a period of pain-free nursing).

also, your LO may not show any signs. we just went through it and DS never had a single symptom.

so if it is thrush who do I call to have the least amount of Dr appointments?
