I have a rosy coloration on part of my boob. My boob is a little sore (barely), that's it. Any ideas?

Re: Rosy Boob?
Redness can be a sign of mastitis. How are you feeling otherwise??? Any fever? Feeling ill????

Re: Rosy Boob?
If there's a lump there it's definitely the start of a breast infection. Try to put a warm wet compress on it before baby nurses next time and try massaging it out. Mastitis comes on fast. You'll feel fine and then feel like you have the worst flu of your life in a matter of minutes.

Re: Rosy Boob?
Also hot showers and massage the area, and let baby nurse on that side first every feed until it is gone, catch it early and you won't get bad!

Re: Rosy Boob?
I had this happen to me. Warm compress, massage ( it will hurt), massage while you are nursing. It is probably a clogged milk duct. Call doc if it gets worse or you get a fever or other symptoms.

Re: Rosy Boob?
I vote for plugged duct. When I had one, that part of the boob was noticeably pinker than the other part.
