DH and I are doing the Core System right now. I am actually loving it (as much as you can love not eating whetever you want whenever you want )

I like the fact that I do not have to figure out points, especially when cooking dinner. It use to take forever, which was fine before kiddies. Now with 2 little ones I only have a small window to throw something together...

Also DH wanted to join me this time around...he has a few pounds to lose, but he mostly wanted to support me. As soon as he heard there was a no counting plan his mind was made up I have done WW so many times that I have a lot of food values memorized, but it would have taken him awhile to get use to it...and honestly he probably would not have stuck with it for very long.

You can eat as much as you want (they emphasize only eating when hungry and only until you feel satisfied) so long as it is on the food list. The list basically consists of non-fat dairy products, vegies/fruits, lean meats (flank steak, boneless skinless chicken breasts, pork chops, canadian bacon, lean ground beef, ground turkey...), fat-free beans (refried, whole, soups, all kinds...), fat-free dressings, condiments (salsa, ketchup, mustard...), and you can have wheat pasta or brown rice or potatoes once per day.

You also have 35 *extra* points per week...so if you want to have dessert, or margarine on your potatoe, or whatever, you just use those points. And of course you can earn activity points.

We signed up for the monthly pass, which averages out to be just a little over $9/week...you get to attend as many meeting as you want (one weigh-in/week), and free access to the online tools. I believe this is the cheapest way to go right now.

For me, it helps when I pay for meetings, attend meetings and have to face the accountability of the scale

We'll see how it goes...I am hoping to have lost this week as I am already tired of hearing "Oh good you stayed the same!"

I am so in too! I started the Flex (points) plan yesterday, and I need some buddies to keep me honest! This is so exciting!
