I am getting contacted by a banned member who wants to trade. The membername is their second one. The first is listed as banned, as well as this one, but the feed back is good...one neutral. What exactly does this mean?

It means they are banned and are no longer a member here anymore (depends on if they were banned for 6 mos or permanently).

Keep in mind, often banned members are not terribly happy about being banned. They make us out to be the bad guys when really, we just try to keep this an honest community where everyone feels safe doing business

Why would someone get banned if they had good transactions?

Well it may not be their transactions, but another situation that jeopardizes the safety of buying and selling on this community. One is only banned if their actions blatantly violate the terms of service or if their behavior is not honest.

Often, the deceptiveness is only seen by mods - sometimes its because we are onto their story before anyone else, sometimes its just because they are trying to get away with something. It doesn't always end in a transaction or feedback. We do our best to nip problems in the bud before they become real problems.

Instead of "registered users" it says "banned"
