nursing covers?

I like the hooter hiders but they seem kind of pricey. Can anyone suggest something else that is similar and has cute patterns? We are about to be pcsing and I'll be flying with my daughter so I need something. Plus a receiving blanket isn't really working for us.

TIA!

Re: nursing covers?

I've tried 2, and they are a HUGE PITA for us. Try the medela website.

BTW- my ds was born the same day!

Hi fellow maryland mommy!
I just got one from this momma here on ds http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/...d.php?t=409844

I think there is one wahm in the wahm wares forum selling them for $15- but 20 isn't bad & the cover works MUCH better than a blanket!
I am so glad I invested!

I splurged for the Bebe au Lait (Hooter Hider), and I love it. My favorite part is the boning at the top that allows me to see my baby and holds the fabric up off of him. I bought mine on sale for about $25.

Re: nursing covers?

I use a receiving blanket clipped on to my shirt with ID badge clips. You know those clips with the plastic loop with a snap on it. (walmart office supplies) anyway I've snapped two together so there is a clip on each end clip one to my shirt and one to the blanket. Works great for me since I always have a blanket with me and I can just leave the clips in my diaper bag.

DD won't let me use one anymore, she just pulls it up. I have a knock off Hooter Hider and it worked when we used it. It's really girly and you can have it super cheap!
