baby wearers - what do you do in the winter?

my baby was born in feb and I had a rs at the time. I would put on whatever I normally would wear (sweater, or long sleaved something), put on the sling, put her in the sling (wearing a baby gown and swaddled, and wearing a hat), and put my regular coat over us both. I had to hold it together in the front when outside to keep the wind off of her. but it worked.

this year I am moving to texas

if I were staying up north I would soooo get a new mt with minky and a nice bwing coat.

I'm mainly using a mei tai, but have some wraps-- as long as she's in front I'll put my coat on and zip her into it-- I've been pregnant or wearing a baby for the last 4 years LOL when it's been cold. I got a great heavy weight fleece jacket from Land's End last year-- big enough to zip either child in it and keep us both covered-- I'll make sure her feet and legs are covered, and wearing a good hat-- Otherwise we're not outside for too long-- errands, walks, etc.

I do have a long black fleecy wrap I bought as my "winter coat" when I was pg. I can easily wear that!
