My Grade-School French Wasn't for Nothing...

I ordered diapers totally in French today. The best (Canadian) place to find everything I wanted was http://www.bleubeberosebonbon.com/ and I had to do it in a language I barely spoke. And here I thought those eight years of French were for nothing!

Lol, I took French in High School and I didn't learn hardly squat. My teacher was a real meanie and didn't care to help anyone learn.

Well, I have 5 years of french and I did not bad over there! I'm quite impressed with myself. LOL My kids go to french immersion though so maybe I've picked up more in the past few years... I always make my 7 year old translate stuff for me.

I was on an AIO kick, so I got some Thirsties, Bum-Ware Extremes and AMP's to try. This site had the best girlie colours in stock.

But, I just about had a heart attack this morning because there was an e-mail from customer service. Lucky for me they were just checking on sizes, and in English. I had to breathe a sigh of relief and reply "Merci".

Re: My Grade-School French Wasn't for Nothing...

I live in a bi-lingual community (Well, you hear more English but most ppl speak French)... And the next town over is definitely more French than English. I've had touble getting customer service at the Giant Tiger there because I dealt with someone who coulnd't speak English at all.

Anyway.. I can understand it and muddle my way through a conversation (BARELY ) But I'd probably chicken out & hand the phone over to my husband since he's French. So I commend you for doing it

And OMG, they have Sophie la Girafe! I may have to order that for my sister's new baby
