we used 'em! They are a great basic dipe. . . We also liked the few nannipoos we had, and I've heard that pattynaps are great. Both of those are likely to be more absorbent. The KLs were bulky and wet through fast (but did take a while to dry in the dryer) on our 5.5 lb baby. But they fit her for quite a while (around 2-3 months) - one of the advantages of having a small one.
