Re: What time is bedtime?
we're late nighters here, but the kids still get a good amount of sleep. They are usually in bed by 9 (but there are nights, like tonight that DD#2 has an awful time falling asleep....she's in bed, but it's 10:15 and she's still awake) and they wake up around 9. That fits with the culture here....the work day here doesn't begin until 11am and ends at 7pm. Our neighbors in the flats above us give no respect for quiet evenings, so to us it's not worth the trouble to try to get the kids to go to bed earlier.
They usually take a 2 hour nap *sometime* in the afternoon.... this varies a lot because we have a babysitter come twice a week for a few hours, and she doesn't like the kids to cry so she won't even attempt naptime (another culture thing with the crying). I would LOVE to get them on a more set schedule, but I've got to get myself on one first....

Re: What time is bedtime?
Bed time for both kids is 8 to 8:30 usually. They are 2.5 and 9 months. My kids sleep in until at least 8 most days. Anna still wakes once or twice in the night to feed.

We usually get her to bed by 9pm, sometimes earlier, and then she wakes up at 12:30 or 1am, and then again at 3:30 or 4am, and then usually again at about 7 or 7:30 am, and then I put her down one more time to try to get just another hour or two of sleep- so she usually gets up for the day at 9 or 9:30. She is 21 months now and has pretty much always been a poor sleeper. She has only slept thru the night maybe only 6 times since she was born!!! I just keep praying that one day she will start sleeping through the night every night!!
