I haven't used that but I think it would depend on where your baby will be receiving your expressed milk. My baby gets hers at daycare and I send frozen milk there and they store it and then thaw when needed. That contraption would either need to go to daycare or it would mean that I'd have to move the milk to another bag/container to send to daycare. It's much easier for us to freeze the milk flat in Lansinoh bags.

If you only feed baby frozen milk at home, it looks like a pretty decent idea.

Re: Sensible Lines.......For milk freezing?

I've used them to freeze (I pumped exclusively for a long time and always had extra milk) but I just tried thawing them for the first time yesterday. I got them just to have smaller portions of frozen milk in situations where we didn't need a full bag. They were a pain to freeze, but I figured it'd be worth it if it meant not wasting BM! I wouldn't use them for all of my milk b/c they were more of an effort -- freezing in trays, then moving to bags. But so far so good!

I freeze my milk flat in Lansinoh bags in 2-3oz increments. If I need more milk I just thaw several bags, but if he just needs to be topped off during a growth spurt or if my supply is low for one reason or another, I'm not wasting anything.

And wow... I have never tried the cube style, but it looks like a WONDERFUL idea and would really cut down on wasting breastmilk.
