Re: 5 1/2 mos & BF less.

My dd is the same age (well a couple of days younger), and she does the same thing. At first I worried, too, but she's still getting full. It just makes NIP even easier when she only needs 5-10 mins instead of 20-30!

Great question. If your worried, think about diapers. If she's still eliminating fine, she is getting enough

Older children nurse less sometimes, others dont. Just follow her cues mama, healthy babies dont starve themselves.

Mine does the same thing. He was born 1-7-08. I was worried that my milk was starting to dry up. But I woke up this AM leaking all over. (He actually slept through the night, so we missed a feeding) So I guess he is just really fast now. Good to know I'm not the only one.

I also woke up this morning soaking wet - she is a good eater. I am a BIG worrier.

As all the other mamas have said. As long as she is hitting her mile stones, gaining weight as she should and is dirtying enough diapers your going good!! My LO is going to be 12 weeks tommorrow and he's never eaten more than ten minutes (but I also have fast let down).

What time? My DD was born 1/7/08 also. It was a good day to have a baby!
