DD is killing me..I'm exhausted!

Ds will be 18months on the 1st and is like this...my friend has twins that will be 16months on the 1st and THEY are like this, put all 3 together and

No... mine just doesn't sleep. Ever. I don't think I've gotten 4 hours straight of sleep in over a year. *sigh*

This is why I pretty much emptied all the cabinets they can get into..and put them in higher cabinets or elsewhere and I don't attempt dishes or laundry or any other similar task until they're asleep...not usually nap because they're easily disturbed, but when they're down for bed. Not saying that this is a possibility for everyone...but that the behavior, I think, is normal..and what drove me to do what I do (the stuff mentioned above)

my sons been like this for a year!! Im pulling my hair out daily and on top of it my DD is waking up every hour at night if you figure something out lmk

I think I am just getting old..LOL..with 7 kids and a dh who work til 8 at night, if I waited to do laundry and things....I would never sleep! But really, did I have to get the crazy baby at the end when I was approaching 40, why not when I had 1st dd at 22???!! Actually my older kids were probably almost as bad but maybe I just had lots more time/energy when I was younger and had fewer kids? Maybe we could get all the crazy kids together for a play date in a large area..with no tables to climb, and let them wear each other out!

Sounds like my 16 month old DD.

I've babyproofed what I really don't want her to get into and let her have at it at the rest. It's just easier for my sanity that way.

(BTW, for a while, her favorite thing was playing with the toaster oven door, which drove me NUTS... I had to rig a baby gate in front of it because we have a small apartment and nowhere else to move it.)

both of my girls are like that....this week has me going nuts with Dh gone. I can't wait for tomorrow night. I'm TOTALLY exhausted!

Do you have my child? Mine, at 27 months, STILL loves to get into things. Just last week, we got to bring her to the ER because she decided to "play" with some prescription medicine.

Today she dumped liquid soap over our kitchen floor. She is known for taking off diapers and playing/moving the poop. She plays rough with her brother.

I sadly know this all too well.
