ooooooh crud!
My kids have been absolytely miserable today. Just demons from a fiery place. We tried naptime and they refused to even rest, much less sleep. After 3 meltdowns in a row over stupid things and more snotty behavior than I choose to admit to, I sent Sara to her bed to calm down. She screamed for almost 10 minutes and I decided to change the baby(who was also screaming and attempting to nurse) and head upstairs to talk to her. And I realized halfway through a pathetic pinning of a bamboo preflat that Sara was silent. Bad sign. Head upstairs and she is zonked out on her bed. It's 6:45pm and she goes to bed at 8pm. What do I do? She's in her clothing and underwear, no diaper. Do I just call it a day and try to put a diaper on her later when she's completely asleep???? Do I wake her?

Re: ooooooh crud!
That's a hard one. If you wake her up...she might not go back to sleep and keep you up all night. If you keep her asleep, maybe she'll sleep for the rest of the night. If you can, try to put the diaper on without waking her up. I don't think I was any help

Re: ooooooh crud!
My DD has been known to do this on more occasions than I'd like to admit
and I always just pop a diaper on her without waking her up and let her sleep. It is a scary thing to wake her up when she's not ready. Good luck mama!

Re: ooooooh crud!

i know my dd would wake up and stay up and its worth my sanity to risk the sheets-of course she is dry 98% of the time overnight

Re: ooooooh crud!
Ugh, we just had this happen last week! I was nursing Elizabeth down for a nap and I told Mia to go sit in the living room and I would get her oranges when I was done. I finish up and find Mia asleep in her bed. It was 4 p.m.
She ended up waking at 6:30, so we watched the Goofy Movie and she asked for a story at about 8:45 and went to bed!! It's not too much earlier then her normal bedtime, so I would just leave her.

Re: ooooooh crud!
Try slipping a diaper on her as she sleeps, but if she is a light sleeper, I'd wash the sheets in the morning as a PP said!
