My first would only take Avent and my second would only take Medela/Nuk nipples (the ones w/ the funny angled bit on them). I think your best bet is to borrow some from friends and try them out before you buy a bunch of nipples you can't use - you'll probably know pretty quickly. My second clamped her lips shut w/ Avent and that was IT for her!

Avent worked for us . . . whatever you get, I'd suggest keeping it on a slow flow so baby doesn't come to prefer the faster flow of artificial feeding over the boobie.

My dd would ONLY take the playtex nurser with the latex nipple (NOT silicone). Good luck, just try a little bit every day.

We tried everything- breast bottle, avent, dr. brown, playtex, gerber nuk, second nature, etc. . .
she hated all of them- especially if she knew i was there.

I discovered Nuby after she stopped taking bottles altogether and I wish I'd tried them- she loves the sippys and I have a hunch that she would've taken the bottles as well.

my DD wouldn't take anything. But finally she took the playtax but only the latex ones!

These work really well for us http://www.epinions.com/content_234892004996 although we have the infant size (stage 1). Never have had a problem, good slow flow, no collapsing. I think BRU may be the only ones to carry them, but they don't have them listed on-line yet in their store.
