CIO Help!

I would never do CIO, I don't know why peds think it is alright to let a baby cry like that...it is perfectly normal for a 6 month old to wake up to nurse several times in the night. I would give it until atleast a year and then try a gentler approach. I recommend the book Good Night, Sleep Tight. It really helped us with our DD.

I want again to thank you ladies for giving such an overwhelming response to my concerns. I feel now that I have a wealth of information and I will be more prepared when we do try to wean him into STTN.

I know feel that I wasted those two precious nights with my son but I also know I am not a terrible mother for trying something.

I am however currently looking for a different Ped because I'm to the point that I don't believe 80% of what she says.
